At last after such a long gap I m again sitting in front of my laptop to embed some of my thoughts on this new blog. I still remember the day i first watched "Avatar" on my laptop a dvdscr print downloaded from torrents (:D). Wow i enjoyed that movie with all its sci-fi stuff and outer space aliens. Then again, i watched it and then again with my cousins,brothers and i have came to an conclusion that the more i watch it, the more i like it.
Really great stuff no surprise that Cameron took so many years to produce it. This movie was not just a piece of entertainment for me but also a movie that reignites the flames of my long forgotten dreams. From the beginning i am a great fan of universe, i always thought about the possibilities existing there. What if whole of our universe is just a speck in some other thing like a huge planet like thing having universes like ours in its dust. It fascinates me too just think about it.
The day i watched avatar closely all of my those thoughts which were lost till now reignited. Again in my hearts depths i can feel that crave to be an astronaut. Wish I could be pursuing aeronautical engineering!!!. But now i am too far from it and to go back in that field i will have to work a lot. I want to work in either field of space or that of defense like in ISRO,HAL,DRDO,NAL. These are one of the world's best research stations. What i hope is that i can contribute in some research to create the space shuttles and vehicles that make these space travel a reality. But let's see what holds in my future.
Hey one thing, did u noticed that kiss between Neytiri and Jake. I cant believe that every species in our universe kisses like we do and other processes of reproduction are same. Somewhat weird for me. It should have happened that they would have joined their Sahelu'es or something else, it would have been much real.
Another thing that flashed in my mind was its name - Avatar. There is no such name like this in English vocabulary. In fact after some substantive research i found that it is taken from a Hindi word Avatar which means the descent of a deity from heavens to earth in human form to save people from evils. Now please relate this with the story. In this story we had a avatar of Jake Sully which came in the form of Navi people to Pandora to save them from evils.
Now, Avatar was having many nice scenes which i would like to share with you but the best scene in my regard was when that space shuttle detaches over that moon and flies into Pandora. Another was when Jake Sully jumps over that river in order to escape from that animal i don't know his name. Another was the view of floating mountains .. Hmmm the Avatar is such an epic that i cant even describe my feelings regarding it in a few pages. I will just say that i will always remember it as an awesome movie having everything from visual effects to story at its best. I am just waiting for that sequel :).
